Oh dear, this could prove to be rather dangerous…I heard of docstoc as the sponsors of the drilldown podcasts and I’ve eventually got around to checking it out.

Essentially it looks like it does pretty much the same as Scribd, but it seems that it’s doind it just a teeensy bit better - more social, and more personalised. I’m a sucker for this sort of stuff; i am by nature a horder of things - I have more books than I could read in three lifetimes, more music than i’m ever going to listen to, and more rss feeds than i’m ever going to half-read. Thanks to docstoc I’m now going to have more documents saved away too!

Oh, there’s a nice embed feature too (ok scribd has ipaper, but that seems to slow my blog right down - let’s see how this works out).
