It was close, but I managed to get the new version of the site up yesterday, although there were one or two initial bugs. That’s what happens you end up with a Friday afternoon to rebuild the whole site on the new server from scratch instead of just making a direct copy from the development server.

I was planning to build the approval site on Thursday in time for stakeholders to view it before beginning testing on Monday, unfortunately there turned out to be problems with the new servers. I switched to plan B and used an existing server, but then on Friday morning Will managed to get the main database server running, which was great, and I got the site running using it, but it meant I was only left with the afternoon to construct the site.

Anyway, the site is now up and running, although there are still a couple of issues that I’m working on, the main one being that I’m not sure if the reputation module is working.

Hopefully it will be a solid base for further development.
