Our Vice Chancellor gave a talk on Digital Scholarship the
other day, a topic that is often on my mind (read: trying to legitimise all
this messing around I do). Scholarship, or rather ‘having your scholarship
recognised’ which is what people really mean, is all about reputation.

I’m on the train back from ALT-C 2008 in Leeds. I went to ALT-C three years ago and this is the first time I’ve been back since. Times have changed, as I guess have I. Back in 2005, I was fairly new to the whole world of learning technology. I knew almost nobody and the conference felt large.

I’m now back from the Eden 2008 conference and wanted to just look back at the conference – reflecting on the sessions I was involved with and picking up on a couple more of the sessions I attended.
