At last week’s Web 2.0 Expo I went to see Dion Hinchcliffe talk about Building successful next generation Web 2.0 applications.

Andraz Tori from Zemanta gave a talk at the Web 2.0 Expo about making it easier for people to create content, which made my ears perk up.

At last week’s Web 2.0 Expo Alan Patrick from Broadsight (strategy consultancy on Web 2.0) concluded his talk saying ‘Don’t make the user the free lunch’. He pointed out throughout his talk that free content causes problems.

I was at the Future of Web Apps Expo in London last Thursday & Friday which was well worth going to, and gave me lots of food of thought about potential avenues to explore with the iSpot site development. But for the time being I’m just focusing on getting the site to a point suitable for beta release.
