In my everyday technology browsing I see a fair number of interesting tools, sites, ideas, that come my way via RSS, twitter, etc. A lot of them I give a quick look, say “Hmm”, tag ‘em, and move on.


My research group spent a successful day this week brainstorming and developing projects together.
We began by considering what we enjoy about research, and found that social and affective factors are hugely important to us. We wanted to carry out joyful research - visionary research - research that would engage us and make a difference to the world.
As noted with much excitement last week, I am going to WordCamp August 16.


I received a comment last night on my post, Twitter in Education, that I found interesting. It was from a doctoral student in our program and she was recounting her recent entree into twitter.
